Jumpering the charging circuit diode in

Futaba 7UAF and 7UAP "Super 7" transmitters

This modification, when properly done, will not affect the operation of your

transmitter, nor will it void your warranty. However, do not attempt this procedure

unless you are comfortable with soldering electronic equipment!

1. Remove the battery and the transmitter RF module.
2. Remove the back cover of the transmitter.

3. Locate the printed circuit board where the charging jack is mounted.

4. Solder a small jumper wire across the diode, as indicated (your diode may be larger than the one in the picture).

5. Reassemble the transmitter, being careful not to pinch any wires. Plug in the battery and RF module.
